Franco
Amnon Franco is a PhD student at the Urban Vitality Lab. He completed his Bachelor of Arts (B.A) at Tel Aviv university in geography and history of the Middle East. He has a Masters from the department of Middle Eastern and African History at Tel Aviv university. In his masters thesis he explored the early relationships between the Palestinian and the new Israeli states and how they are reflected in the establishment of the education system for the Palestinian population in its first decade. Amnon also works as a high school geography and history teacher.. Amnon established a unique urban planning and innovation study program for matriculation certificate. Currently, he is working on his PhD dissertation under the supervision of Dr. Amit Birenboim. Amnon’s research is focused on the inter-relationships between the virtual and the physical spaces among adolescents in the city. When he is not working, you can find him with his three beautiful children or playing basketball. He is the happiest when he finds some time to read.
